The programme is designed to provide knowledge and skills that are necessary for studying a wide range of compulsory and optional subjects in the Foundation Programme and beyond.
All sessions are held in New Zealand Standard Time.

Session 1: Welcome to Foundation Connect | ||

This session is designed to meet the Head of College and learn more about your chosen programme. There is also an opportunity at the end of the session to ask any questions you may have. |
Session 2: Introduction to Digital Tools | ||

Introduction to Blackboard which is our Learning Management System and where all resources will be available. Access to student email and how to navigate it. |
Session 3: Getting the most out of your study | ||
| Take students through tips and guidance for learning – both online and onsite. Making the most out of lesson times, how to communicate effectively with your teachers, planning your independent study time. |
Session 4: Study in New Zealand | ||
| Introduction to the support teams and services. |
Session 5: Q&A with Programme Leaders | ||
|
Open session for any questions that students might have before they commence their study. |
